Goat Program
We save our spare change to buy goats for families in Haiti through Haitian Christian Projects. Haitian families use this animal in a variety of ways. The main purpose is breeding the goats for food and income. The firstborn female is returned to the program so another family can benefit.
Each week we set aside 15% of the total offering to foreign missions. This amount is further broken down in the following percentages to provide relief to our fellow believers in Haiti. We also at times will take a special offering to speed up funds to help these missions.
45 % to Lifeline Christian Mission - this money is used to purchase homes for TCC sponsored children. Also, we sponsor several children in Haiti.
45% Global Vision Citadelle Christian Mission - this money used to partner with Bas Regie Christian Church. A portion is directed for the salaries of the minister and two teachers. The balance is accumulating to purchase land for a building. (They currently have a "palm and frond" type structure which doesn't meet the needs of the church and culture there.
10% other - to be used for various monthly projects such as goats for Haiti, benches for Haiti, gift boxes for Indian Reservation children, peanut butter for Haiti, etc.
